WordPress Web Development Internship Job in Bangalore

ABS Digital Marketing Agency is seeking skilled and passionate WordPress Website Designers and Developers to join our team in Jayanagar, Bangalore. We are a full-service digital marketing company providing services such as website design & development, search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, and logo designing.

The ideal candidate should hold a B.E, B.Tech, B.Com, or B.Sc degree and have 0-3 years of experience. This is a full-time, in-office job at our office in Jayanagar, Bangalore, which is located just a 5-minute walk from the Jayanagar metro station.

If you’re not in Bangalore, you can also opt to work from home.

As a WordPress Website Designer and Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and publishing websites on the WordPress platform, maintaining the current WordPress website and its infrastructure, optimizing the UI and UX of websites, optimizing the speed of websites, and discussing web design projects with the team internally and the client over the phone, WhatsApp, zoom, etc.

The desired candidate should be fluent in the WordPress platform, Elementor page builder, creative UI/UX designing, and have familiarity with CPanel, popular WordPress themes, and plugins. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, work well under pressure, be serious about building a career in web development, and have experience in marketing or sales (which is a bonus). A deep understanding of websites, SEO, and digital marketing will also be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing, building, and publishing websites on the WordPress platform
2. Maintaining the current WordPress website and its infrastructure
3. Optimizing the UI and UX of websites
4. Optimizing the speed of websites
5. Discussing web design projects with the team internally
6. Discussing web design projects with the client over the phone, WhatsApp, zoom, etc…

Skills Required

1. Fluency in the WordPress platform
2. Fluency in Elementor page builder
3. Creative UI/UX designing
4. Familiarity with CPanel
5. Familiarity with popular WordPress themes and plugins
